A friend of mine over at Spelman shared this documentary with me and I thought it was great. Although it’s short in length, it brought a pretty long smile to my face. It’s nice to see all the different ways that people can find beauty in themselves. I think we should search for those things much more often. I think I’ll send it to my mother and sister. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it. Check it out and tell her what you think.

[Jourdan Dunn & Rob Evans in The Perfect Pair][As featured in the Winter 2011 issue of i-D Magazine][Wardrobe includes pieces from Jimmy Choo, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, & Moschino] Aside from the fact that these are two of my favorite models and [role] models, I’m loving this spread from i-D’s Winter Warm Up issue. I appreciate simple spreads like this that don’t require much more than skilled models, a nice wardrobe, and a good eye behind the camera. This shoot actually reminds me of a simplified version of the 2010 shoot for The Contributing Editor titled Two of Hearts, which featured Wendell Lissimore and Sessilee Lopez. I wish they would have found Rob and Jourdan for that shoot and given this one to Wendell and Sessilee. The other shoot was a lot more fun and featured both models more equally. I’d take Jourdan and Rob over Wendell and Sessilee any day… No offense. :p If you really look at Jourdan Dunn hard, she looks like a mix between Sade and Meagan Good. I was right, huh?
